Potassium iodide from Heiltropfen consists of potassium iodide and distilled water. Lugol's solution consists of 5% iodine and 10% potassium iodide.

Ingredients: Distilled water, potassium iodide, iodine.

1 vertical drop is approx: 6.25 mg iodine solution (2.5 mg iodine and 3.75 mg potassium iodide)

Use/dosage2:2-4 drops (0.1-0.2 ml) applied directly to the skin, or as recommended.

Heiltropfen's iodine comes from mined crystals, not from shellfish or seaweed. Store at room temperature. Protect from direct sunlight. Natural water purifier, solution consists of 85% distilled water, 10% potassium iodide and 5% iodine. First aid antiseptic.
