KYUSU KUROSHINJU JAPANESE TEAPOT
Kyusu is a typical Japanese teapot with a distinctive handle on the side, designed for preparing loose tea. The word "kyusu" means "jug" or "cauldron", and therefore in Japan you can find many vessels intended for preparing loose tea under the same name. Kyusu Kuroshinju is made of ceramic clay. The vessel has a black, glossy finish. It is only on the upper part of the jug, on its edge, that the clay shines through the enamel. Inside the vessels is a metal strainer, which prevents the tea leaves from ending up in a mug when the tea is poured.
